Brisky is a your personal concierge that helps you discover, share as well as book local nightlife events of your interests. Usually, nightlife events  at pubs and nightclubs are events or experiences that are happening in your city which are not publicized in any form of media thus making them difficult to discover. Brisky uses spontaneous planning techniques to deliver all information about  interesting events/experiences happening around you at the best Pubs & Nightclubs right now!

Whats different?

The basic premise of Brisky is that it’s a product for the end-consumer, catering to their needs unlike other platforms who are dedicated to helping businesses sell more tickets. There are two unique insights about their approach:

1. A Personalized platform – Brisky recommends to its users events in line with their own interests so that they don’t miss out on events of their interests
2. The Social Component –  Event is a social act and there is always a strong underlying network effect in the events space which we want to leverage by incorporating social recommendations from facebook friends. Friend’s recommendations is still the biggest source of event discovery and this real world behavior is what we want to replicate on our platform

What’s behind the idea?

Since their launch in November 2015, the startup has focused only on Nightlife category with operations based out of Pune with around 100 partners. They have recently started their operations in Hyderabad and have 30 premium pubs and nightclubs as partners. Brisky has successfully listed more than 4000 events on their platform and currently have 3500+ users. Seeing an uptrend in their idea, they have crossed 900 bookings since January 2016 and clocking about 100-120 bookings per week!

Who is the brainchild?

The team at Brisky comprises of members including graduates from NIT Trichy, IIIT Allahabad and Jaypee Institute with the experience in organizations including ZS Associates and UBS Verity.

They have significantly been able to sell their idea and have made contributions in the following. 

National Winners at Techpreneur 2015, Confluence IIM Ahmedabad, part of NASSCOM 10K Startup Program, National Winners at E-Summit 2016 NIT Trichy and have been selected in the Spark10 Accelerator Program (among the 10 Startups).

Adrenaline time!

Brisky is organizing the Brisky Battle of Bands event on 18th June at Drunken Poet’s Cafe, Kondapur. After a successful edition in Pune, this time they are making it even bigger. The aim is to provide a career platform to all the aspiring bands of Hyderabad and hence along with the cash prizes! For all those music players out there, Brisky is also giving a performance contract as a prize to help in promoting the young bands and music ecosystem in Hyderabad.
